MEMORIAL SLOAN-KETTERING CANCER CENTER earned the #4 spot on the leaderboard this week following strong engagement on Instagram, particularly on a photo of a sign placed in an adjacent apartment encouraging strength to all patients across the way (5.2K responses). Fans also responded well to a post featuring MSK surgeon and hero Dr. Michelle Coriddi for International Womens Day which earned 1.9K responses. These stories also earned strong engagement on Facebook with 3.4K and 760 responses, respectively.
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
DANA-FARBER CANCER INSTITUTE’s Social Engagement Score increased 114% this week moving them up 24 spots to #11. Dr. Allison O’Neil, the clinical director of the Solid Tumor Program at Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s, shared her experience as a woman in science and medicine and encouraged all children with a passion for science to follow it. The video earned 673 responses and 10.3K video views on Facebook. The center also posted a link addressing COVID-19 which shared information about minimizing the spread of the virus earning 615 responses.
CINCINNATI CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL earned 596K video views this week, all of which were on YouTube. The most watched video this week, “How Germs Spread | Explaining the Science for Kids,” was originally posted in 2014 but has appropriately resurfaced earning 160K views. The center also earned high viewership this week on other child friendly animated videos, such as “Como Makes a Mess…” (108K views) and “Max The Angry Macrophage” (27K views).
